Specialized Programs
Sprains, strains, tendinitis: we utilize targeted acupuncture to reduce inflammation, restore range of motion, and get you back to training safely and ahead of schedule.
High training loads, competition pressure, and daily stress take a toll on your nervous system. Acupuncture helps regulate cortisol, improve sleep quality, and restore the balance your body needs to recover, adapt, and perform.
Chronic pain, fatigue, or performance plateaus? Our holistic program addresses the whole athlete, improving mobility, optimizing recovery, and sustaining long-term quality of life.
Meet Your Practitioner
Xavier is a licensed acupuncturist and former professional Ultimate Frisbee player who knows firsthand what it means to push a body to its limits, and what it takes to heal. His background in competitive sport gives him a deep understanding of pain, recovery, and the desire to keep moving.
After discovering acupuncture's remarkable potential to accelerate healing and restore balance, he dedicated himself to bringing that same care to everyone who walks through his door, whether you're a competitive athlete, a weekend warrior, or someone simply looking to feel better in your body.
Xavier's approach is rooted in listening. Every treatment is tailored to the individual: your goals, your lifestyle, your body. No two patients are the same, and no two sessions are either.
Common Questions
Most patients feel little to no pain. The needles used are extremely thin, much finer than a hypodermic needle. You may feel a mild sensation of pressure, warmth, or tingling at the insertion point, which is normal and typically subsides quickly.
Yes. Acupuncture works well alongside physical therapy, chiropractic care, massage, and conventional medicine. Xavier works collaboratively and can coordinate with your other providers to ensure your care plan is cohesive.
Come hydrated and wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing, as Xavier may need to access areas that are typically covered. Bring any questions you have, and take a moment beforehand to think about what you're hoping to get out of treatment, whether that's recovering from an injury, managing pain, reducing stress, or simply feeling better. Xavier will build your sessions around your goals.
We are currently a private-pay practice. We provide detailed superbills that you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Many HSA/FSA plans cover acupuncture, so check with your provider.
Absolutely. While we specialize in sports acupuncture, our treatments benefit anyone dealing with pain, stress, or chronic conditions. If you have an active lifestyle or simply want to feel better and move more freely, you're in the right place.
